We are a large, active society in Seattle, WA. Our meetings are held the second Monday of the month from September through June. The December meeting is our holiday buffet/potluck, and our August meeting is a combination picnic/auction. We do not have a meeting in July.

For anyone exhibiting plants at the show
The Exhibit and Sales Rules and Ribbon Classes (“Show Schedule”) are online. Both Manual and Electronic Plant Entry Forms are also available for direct download. The Manual entry form is a .pdf file that you may print and fill in; the Electronic form is an Excel spreadsheet that can be emailed or brought in on a thumb drive or CD. You can help save time by pre-registering your plants!
Show posters are also available for you to download and print. These are all in PDF format. I have made 3 sizes available:
11x17 - full poster size
8.5x11 - fit to an 8.5x11 sheet
4.25x5.5 - 1/4 sheet for handouts (4 to a page, front and back)
You are welcome to print these out and get them spread around. The 8.5x11 is a very handy size for a side rear car window!

Meetings and some sales and events are held at the Center for Urban Horticulture, on the University of Washington campus.
Scholarship Information
The Northwest Orchid Society funds research for projects related to orchids. These awards (typically $500 or less) are open to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in certified institutions of higher education in the states of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
